PADMAVANI ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN

Kevin Hall’s phrase “Ignite your life with possibilities” had ignited my mind for starting this educational institution, Padmavani Arts and Science College for Women. It was started with a sole aim of imparting good education with moral values to the woman folk especially for the socially downtrodden and economically weaker village folks. Though we had a humble beginning, by the absolute grace of God we stand tall among the colleges affiliated to Periyar University, Salem. We are blessed that we worship the Almighty who can create amazing things from nothing, if he pleases things to be so.

We assure, Padmavani College of Arts and Science for Women as one of the gifts of God. We are privileged that we are chosen people to be an associate of his great and amazing creation, either as a learner, or a teacher or a protector. The college is housed in the citadel of coconut grove with stellar buildings. At present we have 17 programs in Under-graduation and 11 in Post-graduation apart from Research programs of M.Phil in 08 departments. We have been operating buses for the students and teachers to commute college from their homes with ease. It is a pride for all the inmates that the college has made a consistent progress in all the facets. Students who were rejuvenated in their academic pursuits at Padmavani, I am confident, that they will radiate perennial fragrance and shine eternal light across the globe.

No one would have a second thought that the college has contributed to build a strong and healthy Nation. It is situated in a sprawling campus of 10.61 acres.
